OFA Excellent.

Hero had a great start to her show career including a 4-point-major and Best of Breed win. She ended up with six points towards her championship. We were very sure we were on our way to bigger and better things when she developed a closed pyometria.

Hero evenually had to be spayed to preserve her health and well-being, ending her show career. Her major win for BOB though, gave her dam Sophie enough points to earn her BROM title and for that we are more-than thankful!

The name "Hero" came from Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing". Hero was littermate to Jane.

Hero lived out her days here at Foxfire with her normal humor and wit. Hero had the sweetest personality and was a very livable dog.
